Noriko Oki was born in Tokyo, Japan.
After graduating with a BA in English & American Literature at Gakushuin Univ., she moved to California in pursuit of Art and Design, and graduated from Otis/Parsons (currently Otis College of Art and Design) in 1992 with a BFA in Illustration.
She has been involved in a broad range of creative fields, including film production, computer animation, graphic design, editorial illustration, and toy design.
Since 2000, Noriko has been living in Japan and now based in Tokyo, where she paints and enjoys being a mother.

東京都出身。学習院大学英米文学科卒業後アメリカに渡り、Otis/Parsons校(現Otis College of Art and Design)にて幅広く美術を学ぶ。1992年同校イラストレーション科卒業。エディトリアルイラストレーション、トーイデザイン、撮影プロダクション、CG、ウェブデザインなど様々な分野を経験しながら、常に自分の世界を追求し、創作活動を続けている。現在は一児の母となり、東京を拠点に活動中。
